Inhaled via the mouth and nasal passages. Pour one teaspoonful of Eucalyptus inhaler in a container filled with hot (not boiling) water, breathe over the vapors for 5-10 minutes with your closed eyes.

This drug should be taken with caution if combined with medications that lower blood sugar.
Several components of eucalyptus interfere with the way the body processes certain drugs using the liver’s cytochrome P450 enzyme system such as barbiturates and hepatotoxic compounds (pyrrolizidine-alkaloid-containing plants). Patients using these drugs should consult with a health care provider before using Eucalyptus inhaler.

Things you must do
Eyes should be closed when inhaling the vapor.
Continuous cough may be the sign of a serious illness. If the symptoms resist, stop using this medicine and consult a physician.
Things to be careful of
Should not be used in children younger than 2 years old, high fever, continuous cough and patients with respiratory tract bleeding, Eugenol allergy, gastritis, biliary and acute liver disease.
This medicine is used only as an inhalation and is extremely dangerous if taken orally.
Side effects
Sensitization or allergy with symptoms of nausea and vomiting, stomach upset, skin inflammation, itching, hives and diarrhea.
Eucalyptus inhaler is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
