• Supportive treatment for diarrhea in adults and children
Children from 2 to 3 years: starting dose 10 ml, then 5 ml every hour, maximum daily dose 60 ml.
Children from 4 to 5 years: starting dose 20 ml, then 10 ml every hour, maximum daily dose 80 ml.
Children from 6 years and adults: Starting dose 30 ml, then 15 ml every hour, maximum daily dose 120 ml
This product is made from high quality local and imported herbs organically planted and harvested. It has been formulated by Iran Darouk Pharmaceuticals.
Avoid concurrent use of this medicine with anticoagulants (such as warfarin), CNS depressant (such as benzodiazepines and phenobarbital), alcohol, digoxin, lovastatin and tetracycline.
Store below 25°C, keep away from direct sunlight and freezing.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Disposal
Do not put into sewer lines. Dispose in the everyday rubbish bin.
• Avoid taking this drug if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to one of active ingredients, Asteraceae family (or Compositae family) or one of the other ingredients.
• It is not recommended for infants and children under 2 years old.
• Continue the use of Diastop syrup until you have diarrhea but if the symptoms of the disease persist for more than two days, contact a professional healthcare.
• Precipitation in herbal solution does not reduce its therapeutic effect. Shake bottle well before use.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Continue the treatment as described in the package leaflet or prescribed by the doctor.
• If you are under a special medication or having a special condition, consult with you physician before use.
Side effects
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in individuals with a known allergy to chamomile and Asteraceae family.
Some people may also experience gastrointestinal disorders such as mild cramps.
NOT to be taken during pregnancy and lactation.
