Pelarex
• Relieve cough and cold
Adults and Children (12-18 years): Take 7.5 ml, 3 times daily (morning, midday and evening)
Children aged 6-12 years: Take 5 ml, 3 times daily (morning, midday and evening)
This product is made from high quality local and imported herbs organically planted and harvested. It has been formulated by Iran Darouk Pharmaceuticals by transferring of technical knowledge from Vitapharmed Switzerland.
Due to possible effect of the drug on coagulation parameters, this drug can increase the anti-coagulant effects of drugs such as warfarin.
This drug might interfere with immunosuppressant drugs.
Store below 25℃, away from light and freezing.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Disposal
Do not put into sewer lines. Dispose in the everyday rubbish bin.
When NOT to take it
• Avoid taking this drug if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients.
• Due to lack of data, avoid use in cases of liver and kidney disorders.
• This medicine is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years.
Things you must do
• In case liver problems occur, or in case of occurrence of fever for several days, difficulty in breathing or appearance of blood in your sputum, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• After the relief of symptoms, continue treatment for a further 2-3 days to prevent a relapse. However, treatment should not exceed two weeks.
• Precipitation in herbal solution, does not reduce its therapeutic effect. Shake the bottle well before use.
• Consult your physician for use longer than a course of 7 days.
Side effects
In some cases, pelarex syrup may cause stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Following the instructions in the leaflet would reduce the risk of adverse effects.
Avoid taking this medicine during pregnancy and lactation.
