Administration and Dosage:
The dosage is to be prescribed by your physician. However, the usual administration of the drug is as follows:
- Children 1-6 years: 3 times a day, 1 half-full teaspoon or 2.5 ml each time.
- Children 6-12 years: 3 times a day, 1 teaspoon or 5 ml each time.
Adults: 3 times a day, 1-1 1/2 teaspoon or 5-7.5 ml each time.

Side effects
- With the recommended dosage no side effects has been registered so far. However, due to the presence of sorbitol in the product, it might have laxative effect.
When NOT to take it
- In individuals with fructose intolerance, consult a physician before use.

This product should not be used during pregnancy and Lactation.

Mechanism of Action:
This syrup works through diluting the mucous and increasing the volume of sputum and expulsion of secretions.
Active Ingredients and Components :
Phytopan Syrup is made from dry extract of Ivy (Hedera helix L.).
Each 100 ml of the syrup contains 0.7 g standardized dry extract of Ivy.
Ivy leaves contain 5-8% saponins, oleic acid, hederagenin (which are known as hederasaponins or hederacoside B). Among the hederasaponins, hederacoside C is the prominent ingredient and makes up to 70% of the entire compounds.
