Consult a physician for simultaneous use other drugs with Phytorelax, such as combined oral contraceptives, HIV-1 protease inhibitors, immune system inhibitors (cyclosporine, tacrolimus and sirolimus), anticoagulants (heparin and warfarin), digoxin, theophylline, serotonergic SSRIs (nefazodone and paroxetine), anticonvulsants (carbamazepine), anti-migraine drugs, verapamil, simvastatin, midazolam, Mono Amino Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), benzodiazepine tranquilizers, barbiturates, opioids, alcohol, CYP3A4 inducers, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and antihistamines.
Store in a dry place, keep away from direct sunlight and below 25 °C.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Disposal
Do not put into sewer lines. Dispose in the everyday rubbish bin.
When NOT to take it
• Should not be used in children under 6 years old and use in children between 6 in 12 years old under supervision of a physician.
• This drug should not be used in patients with known dermal photosensitivity or those undergoing phototherapy or any photo diagnostic procedures or during intense ultraviolet (UV) exposure
• Patients taking this drug should avoid excessive sunbathing or the use of sunbeds or solariums.
• Due to its sedative effects, avoid using this drug while driving or when working with devices that need focus.
• This product is not recommended for individuals that are allergic to Hypericum perforatum.
• If symptoms worsen or persist after 4-6 weeks of using the medicinal product, a qualified healthcare professional e.g. a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
• The sudden cessation use of this drug may cause withdrawal symptoms in some people include headache, nausea, dry mouth, loss of appetite, trouble sleeping, dizziness, weight loss, and confusion. It is recommended to slowly reduce the dosage before discontinuing it.
• Stop taking the drug two weeks before and after surgery.
• Avoid taking this drug in patients with Alzheimer disease, Bipolar disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia and also with tyramine-containing foods.
• Individuals with special condition or under special medication, consult with a healthcare professional before use.
Side effects
This drug may cause some side effects include anxiety, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, insomnia, irritability, menstrual irregularities, paresthesia, restlessness, skin rash, photosensitivity and allergic reactions.
Should NOT be used during pregnancy and lactation.
