30 soft gelatin capsules in a plastic container with child-proof cap in cardboard box with patient information leaflet.

Indications:

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), Help relieve PMS symptoms, Help decrease the severity of cyclical breast Pain

Administration and Dosage:

Adults and children over 6 years of age, one capsule daily.
Adults can increase up to four capsules daily if required.

Technical Specifications:

Each soft gelatin capsule contains 1000 mg Evening primrose oil (Oenothera biennis L.) and 27 mg Vitamin E

Drug interactions:

This medicine may interact with medicines such as Anti-epileptic drugs, Phenothiazine medications (Trifluoperazine, chlorpromazine), Antiplatelet drugs, Anticoagulants (such as warfarin), Anesthesia, Lithium and Kaletra.

Storage:

Store the drug below 25°C, in dry and cool place.

Contraindications and precautions:

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with seizure disorders or those being treated with drugs that lower the seizure threshold.
• Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to the active substances, any of the other ingredients and also soya.
• Use with caution in individuals with bleeding disorders and Schizophrenia.
• Discontinue the use at least 2 weeks before elective surgical procedures.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:

If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your doctor before use.

Mechanism of Action:

This medicine contains Evening Primrose (EPO), which is a rich natural source of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) essential for the production of Prostaglandins to help maintain and keep the body metabolism running smoothly and efficiently. Vitamin E has been added to this soft gelatin capsule in order to increase its effectiveness.
